A new survey by charity Gingerbread has revealed that 46% of single parents currently using the Child Support Agency to access child maintenance payments will not be able to afford the proposed fees to use the new child maintenance service. Just over 70% have also said they could not set up private arrangements with their ex-partners - meaning their children would simply have to go without maintenance support.
